The Parkinson's Foundation and the Fields family visited the Mao lab to meet with Dr. Kundlik Gadhave and Dr. Xiaobo Mao, the recipient of the Parkinson's Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship for 2023-2025, where he is conducting research on Parkinson's disease.

Mao lab's funding ranks within the top 20 in the United States in the Cell Biology category. Specifically, in 2022, it held the 17th position nationally, and in 2023, it climbed to the 12th position in the nation.
